Flavours of Tassie

Now in its seventh year, our Flavours of Tassie program is a showcase of Tasmanian gourmet food and beverage producers on board our ships. This unique initiative encourages Tasmanian producers to directly promote products and engage Spirit of Tasmania passengers with a free sampling experience before they explore Tasmania.

Heavily promoted through our database, website and social media channels, this also gives producers the opportunity to engage a larger audience.

Hear from some of our producers

Spreyton Cider

“We love being a part of the Flavours of Tassie program because it is a fantastic opportunity to greet passengers to talk up not only what Spreyton Cider has to offer, but our region and the wider Tasmanian production community. It’s the ability to connect directly with potential visitors, to share our products and story and, encourage tasting the best of what Tasmania has to offer”. Damien Viney

House of Anvers

"The Flavours of Tassie program on Spirit of Tasmania delivers a Win, Win; a win for Tasmanian producers and a win for the traveller. 1) It gives us an opportunity to promote our business and all the great food and beverage experiences the Cradle to Coast Tasting Trail has to offer to a captive audience. 2) It provides extra entertainment for the passengers during their voyage and gives them an opportunity to connect with Tasmanian producers." Igor Van Gerwen

Henry's Ginger Beer

"The Flavours of Tassie Program is an important collaboration between our brand and Spirit of Tasmania. The opportunity to interact with passengers that are embarking on a Tassie holiday allows us to showcase our product on board and gives the passengers their first taste of the exceptional quality of products they’ll be enjoying on their visit to the island. We regularly hear about Spirit of Tasmania passengers seeking out Henry’s Ginger Beer at our stockists after enjoying one on board." Marc Watson-Paul
